Ketoconazole is an antifungal medication used to treat fungal and yeast infections in dogs and cats. It is commonly prescribed for skin infections, ear infections, ringworm, and certain systemic fungal diseases. It works by stopping the growth of fungus and yeast, helping relieve symptoms such as itching, redness, hair loss, odor, and discomfort.
