SENIOR PET CARE

Supportive Senior Pet Care Without the Long Drive

For an aging pet, a long car ride and unfamiliar clinic can add unnecessary strain. In-home visits allow your pet to remain in familiar surroundings while the veterinary team evaluates health changes, mobility, chronic conditions and quality of life. A consistent team also makes it easier to recognize changes and adjust the care plan over time.

  • A calmer setting for aging and mobility-limited pets
  • Preventive screening and chronic condition monitoring
  • Mobility, comfort and quality-of-life support
  • Continuity with a team that knows your pet

In rural and mountain communities, veterinary care can require significant travel. The challenge grows when more than one pet needs attention. Vet at Your Door comes to your home, making it easier to coordinate preventive and ongoing care for multiple dogs and cats. When appropriate, several pets can be seen during the same home visit.

  • Fewer long drives and separate appointments
  • A familiar environment for every pet
  • Coordinated wellness needs across the household

WHY IN-HOME CARE

Reliable Veterinary Access Where Distance Matters

Living in Northern Maine should not make routine and ongoing veterinary care harder to maintain. In-home care reduces travel, helps pets remain calm and gives the veterinary team useful context about daily routines, mobility and behavior. Over time, that setting supports a more personal and consistent care relationship.

  • No crowded waiting room or unnecessary travel
  • Easier access for senior, anxious or mobility-limited pets
  • Practical care for rural and multi-pet households
  • More personalized attention in the home
  • Wellness, non-emergency sick and senior care
  • Continuity with a dedicated veterinary team
